Greed V$ Need

Support NEED over GREED!
Gather in the billions to fund New Yorkers' public safety, health and well-being!

The Insatiable Greed of Wall Street is Obvious

The insatiable greed of Wall Street is obvious to ALL New Yorkers. All one has to do is watch New York City's affordable rent-controlled housing being replaced with luxury high-rise condos and compare that to the homeless crisis plaguing the city to understand why giving BILLIONS to Wall Street billionaires is a bad idea.

What New York Cities Really Need

New York cities need money to battle homelessness, improve social services and repair crumbling infrastructures. Why is the state giving BILLIONS to billionaires when so many need so much?

Homeless
Crisis

Why are New York City and other cities across New York facing a homeless crisis — many of whom are — veterans, children and senior citizens when the state is giving BILLIONS in tax rebates to Wall Street fat cats? This behavior by elected political leaders is completely irrational.

Social
Services

What New Yorkers really need is more money for improved social services, healthcare, medical care, homecare, education, public health and safety, emergency personnel, police and firefighters, supportive housing, animal welfare, etc., not BILLIONS in government givebacks to Wall Street fat cats.

Crumbling
Infrastructure

New York State gives BILLIONS in tax rebates to Wall Street billionaires while the infrastructure in NYC and other distressed cities and towns is crumbling. Water facilities, public transit, schools,  telecommunications, roads and bridges need funding more than corporate fat cats need tax givebacks. Enough is enough!

 Support NEED over GREED!

Millions of New Yorkers are hurting because of cuts in critical public services ranging from infrastructure repairs to healthcare that is placing everyone, in one way or another, in serious jeopardy.

Please send a strong message to (1) Gov. Kathy Hochul, (2) your Assembly Member and (3) your State Senator. Tell them to support New Yorkers' NEED Over Wall Street's GREED by immediately ending the Stock Transfer Tax rebate NOW!

Repeal Stock Transfer Tax Rebate for Fat Cats NOW!

It's unconscionable how the fat cats and their companies serve in high positions in the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), Partnership for New York City (PFNYC) and the Citizens Budget Commission (CBC). The greed, narcissism and lack of empathy shown by those heading these lobbying groups which are so adamantly opposed to repealing the Stock Transfer Tax rebate must be vigorously challenged. This campaign plans to do just that!

Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) has board interlocks with Bank of America, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo...

Partnership for New York City (PFNYC) board includes CEOs and presidents of Bank of America, BlackRock, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, KKR, and New York Stock Exchange...
